"Parking is not as complicated as written. Hard to locate on Satnav maps. Just come down the A82, after you go past the waterfront after the bumper to bumper traffic, you can see it on the right. Turn right just before it. Park in the bus stop on the left to drop off bags."

"Lovely small B&B where breakfast is optional (if you're not an early riser). The well-appointed rooms all have a private patio with a comfy love seat and a beautiful view of the loch. A lot of care and thought has been put into the design. Our hostess was lovely and quite helpful and her restaurant recommendation of the Old Inn was truly appreciated - best steak ever in a centuries old stone house. This was a lovely getaway from the more touristy areas and very handy to Glencoe for some very memorable hiking. "

"We stayed two nights at the Great Western Hotel while on a bikepacking trip. This older hotel has a great vibe, slightly worn around the edges but very clean and good working order. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had a secure place for our bikes. The location is close to shops and restaurants and all other amenities in Oban. "

"My husband and I had a comfortable 4-day stay at this hotel. They have a nice bar where you can taste some local whisky after dining out and an option for a decent breakfast. It’s in a great location that we were able to explore the city by foot. We had a chance to talk to the friendly Scottish owner & found out that they have rooms with kitchen. We’ll definitely consider it for a longer stay next time in Oban. (And it’s great to know that this is not owned by big corps; she’s providing jobs to anyone willing to do a hard, honest day work. ) "
